4-23-20 THOUGHTS

I awaken in HOPE this morning.  LOVE is a REALITY in my life.  How blessed I am!
I can’t help but ponder GOD THE BLESSER!
We started our study of 1Thesselonians last night.  I’ve been looking at it.
     Two verses:
1Thes 4:9-10    Now as to the love of the brethren, you have no need for anyone to write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another; 10  for indeed you do practice it toward all the brethren who are in all Macedonia. But we urge you, brethren, to excel still more,
Consider it from the Message Bible
1Thes 4:9-10     Regarding life together and getting along with each other, you don’t need me to tell you what to do. You’re God-taught in these matters. Just love one another!  10  You’re already good at it; your friends all over the province of Macedonia are the evidence. Keep it up; get better and better at it.
These verses just blossom into the rest of the New Testament...
1John 4:4-11   You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5  They are from the world; therefore they speak as from the world, and the world listens to them. 6  We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. 7  Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8  The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.   9  By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10  In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.  11  Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Aren’t these just awesome words?  This is the reason for me!  I MUST BE THIS above all!
Truly I am GOD TAUGHT!  The implications and applications just explode from these words.
John 13:34-35  "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35  "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."
             GOD-LOVE-JESUS-ME-YOU-MANKIND.   Isn’t that GOOD NEWS?
My Prayer:
Dear Father and God of heaven, I thank you that you are the author of love...  that you are love.
From your very nature dear God, you know what is best for us and you have taught us what is good and right!  Thank you Oh God that we love each other.  Help us to increase and abound in our love.  You have drawn men to yourself in this way... teach us to draw men to salvation in this VERY WAY!      In the name of Jesus we pray                     Amen
